Eileen Roberts is the current President of Parents For Life.
Based on her personal experience, Eileen tirelessly works to educate the public and legislators of the need for public policy that protects minors and the rights of parents to be involved with their daughter’s life and death decision before an abortion.
Eileen’s Story
When Eileen’s 14-year old daughter became depressed, she had no idea that her daughter had undergone an abortion without her knowledge.
As a result, her 14-year old teen was hospitalized to repair the damage done by the abortionist. To add insult to injury, Eileen had to give written consent before her daughter could have the reparative surgery, and was responsible for the medical costs in the amount of $27,000.
Moved with compassion for young girls and their families, for more than 40 years, Eileen has served as a collective voice for parents, educating the public and legislators of the need for public policy, that protects minors and the rights of parents to be involved in their daughter’s life and death decision of abortion.
Eileen has testified on Capitol Hill on the Child Custody Protection Act (HR476, 2001), which made it a federal offense to transport minors across state lines to evade state parental consent laws as well as the Reauthorization of Title 10 Funding (1991).
Eileen has testified in the Virginia General Assembly since 1987 and continues every year. Most recently she was a speaker at the Virginia March For Life in February 2019, at the Virginia State Capital.
